New Student Registrations

Jefferson Elementary: New Student Registration for 2026-2027

A big hello and a paw-shake from your school mascot, the Jefferson Elementary Jaguar, who wants to ensure every student is ready! Please review the important registration process, dates, times, and requirements below to ensure a smooth enrollment.

Step 1: Online Registration

Before visiting the school, all parents/guardians must complete the initial registration process online.

  • Ready to Enroll? Click "Enroll A New Student" to begin.

  • Time Required: The process takes between 25 to 60 minutes. You can save your progress and return to it later if needed.

  • To Return/Review: Click "Login" to access, resume, or reprint previous registrations. 

đź’ˇ Need assistance? If you have questions while filling out the online forms, please contact the school main office or the Family Resource Center for help.

Step 2: In-Person Document Verification

Once your online registration is complete, you must bring your required physical documents to the school main office to finalize enrollment.

  • Verification Dates: Monday, August 3 – Thursday, August 6

  • Morning Session: 9:00 AM – 11:00 AM

  • Afternoon Session: 12:00 PM – 3:00 PM

  • Please note: Registration is closed daily from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM for lunch.

⚠️ Important Notice: Students whose parents or guardians register them after Thursday, August 6th may experience delays and might not be able to start on the first day of school due to the time required to process paperwork.

What You Need to Bring

To complete your child's enrollment, please ensure you bring all completed registration documents along with the following mandatory items:

1. Parent/Guardian Photo ID

  • Must be government-issued (e.g., Driver's License, Passport).

2. Proof of Residency (2 Documents Required)

Documents must be in the parent/guardian's name, dated within the last 30 days. P.O. Boxes are not accepted. Acceptable documents include:

  • Escrow papers (closing within 30 days)

  • Current lease/rental agreement AND a payment receipt

  • Current mortgage statement, property tax bill, or utility bills

  • Recent pay stubs, voter registration, or government agency letters

  • Court or foster care documents

3. Proof of Age (1 Document Required)

  • Official birth certificate, registrar letter, passport/VISA, baptism record, or a signed affidavit.

4. Complete Immunization Records

  • Proof of all required shots meeting the California (CA) Immunization Requirements for TK-12 students.
